STALLIONS

In order to get to Pleasant Valley from Phoenix you'll need to head for the high country where the Aspen hang within the tall pines. Here off highway 260 between Payson and Showlow you take our twenty mile gravel driveway ( Rt. 288) south. Make sure your tires are good and your ready for some adventure!

Along the way its always adventurous to take a side road to Canyon Creek. As you can see from Al Barifs point of view, its a great one!

Canyon Creek itself is a beautiful place to hang out and have a picnic or go for a hike. Also, they stock the creek with trout for those who like fly fishing.

The colors are absolutely gorgeous in the summertime and the green grass offers Al a nice treat  for his good work. During the winter the road is closed off ,so it's best to try this adventure between April and November.

Pleasant Valley itself lies  between Naeglin Rim and The Sierra Anchas Wilderness. The little town of Young, which used to be called Pleasant Valley, is the center piece. The surrounding area, including Young,  is now known as Pleasant Valley.   The entire area makes up our riding ground.

Naeglin Rim is our backyard and our favorite riding, partly because of the convenience but also because of the terrain and the spirit that exists.

As you get closer to Naeglin the spirit grows and you feel as though time stands still.

It doesn't matter which angle you come from, the spirit is still there!

From the Franch Naeglin is always waiting!

Round Mountain is one of our favorite parts of Naeglin Rim. At the bottom of the rock cliffs are great ponds and swimming holes.

Like the pond these dogs are enjoying!

When the day is done and we are all tired out from a good ride, the sunsets are breath taking!
